1. Submit Your Project

Your submission will go through three steps:

Submission Review - Checked for compliance.
Defenders Vote - Smaller sample of Guild members choose what advances.
General Guild Vote - A larger sample of Guild members establish the final score.

2. Receive a Guild Score

Submissions are scored on a scale of 0-100.

Passing Guild Defenders requires a score of 50+. This advances your submission to the General Guild and waives the application fee for resubmissions.

Passing the General Guild requires a final score of 70+.

3. Potential Partnership

Submissions with a final Guild score of 70+ are eligible for, but not guaranteed, partnership.

Angel reviews each Guild approved submission and considers the Guild score, marketability, team capacity, project stage, and more before extending a contract offer.

Application Review: 3-7 days | Voting: 1-10 days (longer for kids' submissions)

Acceptable Submissions

Torches

A Torch is a 5 minute or longer continuous sequence that acts as a prototype for your film or series.

Episodes

If you've completed at least one episode, start by submitting a full episode for voting—just be sure to cut off any credits.

Completed Films

There are two steps: First, submit a short clip as a Torch. If it passes the vote, you'll then submit your full film.

These rules are in place to ensure an unbiased voting process and to meet the content expectations of our Guild voters.

General Rules

All Submissions

No nudity
No sexual acts shown on screen
No use of the word F**k
No use of the Lord's name in vain
No filmmaker explainer videos or speeches
No reference to awards or other productions

Episodes

No credits, websites, QR codes, company logos, company names; however, Documentary/Reality participant names are allowed to be shown

Torches

Animated Torches are 2+ minutes
Other Torches are 5+ minutes
Should be less than 20 minutes
Must be a continuous sequence (or 2 to 3 scenes put together)
No trailers or sizzles
The genre and format must represent the final production
No credits, websites, QR codes, company logos, company names; however, Documentary/Reality participant names are allowed to be shown

Teenagers

All of the above
Plus no use of the word C**t

Younger Kids

All of the above
Plus no swearing of any kind

Keeping Submissions Unbiased

Once your submission is approved, we place it in a random queue with other submissions to keep the Guild score fair and accurate. While it's in voting, it won't be searchable.
To maintain the integrity of the voting process, the scoring algorithm, including the total number of voters on each submission, will remain confidential.
